该媒体表示，此次续约风波不是利物浦和阿诺德第一次因合同问题产生分歧。早在2021年，阿诺德就拒绝过俱乐部的报价。

当时利物浦要给阿诺德和阿利森6年合同，阿利森同意了，而阿诺德坚决只签4年。

也许他认为2025年是离开的理想时机，或者他只是不想把自己锁定在一份合同上这么久。
